"Inauguration of the 13th Academic Year at the Salvatorian Institute of Philosophy and Theology di Morogoro, Tanzania. On October 8th we have officially inaugurated the thirteenth academic year 2005/6.

The Eucharist was presided over by the guest of honour Fr. Isaias Torres OSB, the Vice Rector of Salesian Seminary in Moshi.

Our Professor Monika Drazyk delivered a very interesting Lectio Magistralis on “The Relational Christology of Helmut Richard Niebuhr”. In the current academic year we have 311 students (respectively 184 studying Philosophy, 119 Theology and 8 following the Diploma Course in Theological Studies). Among them there are seminarians from 18 congregations and 2 dioceses, and sisters from 8 congregations"
